The Sun Park Foundation for Music Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to music education for students facing financial difficulties. We believe talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Across communities, many young musicians possess extraordinary potential yet lack the resources needed to pursue their passion. Without access to lessons, instruments, mentorship, and performance opportunities, their musical journey often ends before it truly begins. Our foundation exists to change that. Through scholarships, educational support, and meaningful musical opportunities, we strive to ensure that every student with passion and dedication has the chance to grow, learn, and be heard. The Sun Park Foundation for Music Education was born from a deeply personal story. Founder Sun Park grew up facing financial hardship and limited support for pursuing music. The opportunity to study music was never guaranteed, and the path forward was often uncertain. Yet even in those difficult circumstances, her love for music never disappeared. Along the way, mentors, teachers, and generous supporters believed in her potential and helped open doors that once seemed impossible. Their encouragement allowed her to continue her musical journey and eventually build a life dedicated to music education.
Today, Sun Park is an educator who has helped many students discover their own voices through music. But she has never forgotten how difficult the journey can be for young musicians without financial support.
The Sun Park Foundation for Music Education was created out of gratitude and a commitment to give back. It exists so that talented students facing similar challenges can pursue music, grow as musicians, and believe in their own potential.
